Actively Learn (https://www.commonsense.org/education/website/actively-learn) is  a literacy website that engage every student, and every lesson. It has unrivaled content, thoughtful instruction and differentiation of powerful tools. The content has texts and video for ELA, Science and Social studies with scaffolds and higher-order questions. This website has the built-in tools that improve every student’s close reading skills no matter about their literacy level. According to Maryellen, ELA teacher in MA, Actively Learn offers students the ability to hear text read aloud and look up unfamiliar vocabulary, annotate and see supplementary teacher notes without ever looking up from text. This technology is to make reading fund, engaging, and make kids to enjoy. Actively covers a variety of lessons which covers units and grade levels in each of the subject matters. The 3rd grade ELA feature are available which it is assign text from curated sequenced curricular unit from the ELA, Social Studies and Science.

As a teacher, I have recommended that this website has some effective activities for 3rd -12th grade. It has different genres and a library to check out books to reads. Actively Lean is a learning tool that help teacher and student to have better understanding of a lesson which they are actively involved in the learning processes. It is a fun platform that finds what you teach as a teacher and have great text and videos to pair with or add anything you like. It offers divers learning and it give you the option to choose what is culturally appropriate for student.
