BoomWriter

BoomWriter (https://boomwriter.com) is a web-based writing tool that encourages students to work together as authors and readers. StoryWriter, WordWriter, and ProjectWriter are three sorts of writing projects that teachers can assign. The most enjoyable is StoryWriter. It gives students the opportunity to co-author their own books. Teachers provide a "story start" – first chapter, for example – and students
create a follow-up chapter, which they submit to the teacher for approval. Other students, meanwhile, anonymously vote on acceptable chapters; only the author of the winning chapter is disclosed, and their chapter is later included in the novel. Students then return to the drawing board to compose revised versions of chapter three, submit for approval, and vote once more. The procedure is repeated until the book is complete.

WordWriter allows teachers to give a list of vocabulary terms for students to learn. The procedure is repeated until the book is complete. Teachers can use WordWriter to create a list of vocabulary words that students must utilize in their writing. Students develop a textbook-like collection of academic-oriented essays for ProjectWriter, which focuses on nonfiction. Teachers, students, and anybody else who visits the site can read finished books and even purchase printed copies. Students earn Boomer Bucks for submitting chapters, which they can spend to purchase accessories for their "Boomer," or avatar.

BoomWriter is a program that encourages kids to participate more actively in the creative process. They will be pleased to see a completed novel that they contributed to. Teachers' scaffolding of the experience will determine how much students learn using BoomWriter: what sort of aid, guidance, and feedback they provide on students' writing, and how well they tie story construction into current writing classes. This excellent tool is great to get students to have a more positive attitude towards writing!
